I quite rememeber that OPASS in the 1980'S was classified as 'Eastern Varisity".  Why? b,cos there were committted tutors and the students were dedicated and disciplined.  There was one instance when Gadiamus slapped Amos Ankrah (Agbala) at a singing practise in front of the whole school and Amos kept his cool while rowdy guys like FOBA,Sokoto, tan theta and Kwame Alhaji  shouted and cheered and agbala even apologized later The decline of the school's academic status is lack of discipline of the part of the students and committed tutors on the part of the school administration.

Hello Mr Appiah

Could you please explain and contrast further the statement, 'The decline of the school's academic status..... lack of discipline of the part of the students and committed tutors'.

My reasons for further explanation is, my 18 year-old son was at the JSS stage a couple years back and the Academic Standards were excellent.

Secondly, my uncle Mr Oduro Ahyia, the renowned English master, is presently teaching at OPASS with hardworking staff.

Thirdly, I have heard of good governance of OPASS' admin in recent times.

Thank you.

Otis

Were you the dining hall prefect who poured 'ekweegbeemi" on Joe Mafi's head ?.

How are you doing in the UK?
