Dear Opass family, We are luckY to have Dr. Yaw Asante(Chaucer), as our guest speaker for our 3rd annual reunion. Those of us who were lucky to have him tutor us can attest to what a great a teacher he was and still is. You have the chance now to meet with him again in Columbus this May 24th. HE WAS KNOWN AS '' O'NANA CHAUCHER'' AND THIS NAME WAS UNANIMOUSLY CONFERRED ON HIM IN 1982 AS SOON AS HE STARTED TEACHING LITERATURE- IN -ENGLISH AT OPASS.THE MAN WAS GREAT AND HIS PIONEER CLASS MADE NO MISTAKE IN SEEING HIM AS THE REAL INCARNATE OF GEOFFREY CHAUCER OF ENGLAND OF OLD.
