The executive body is putting together a package - report from this yr's reunion, photos etc - for you. This should be ready within the next few days.
Meanwhile, here are a few items the group decided for immediate consideration. (Although helping to build the assembly hall still remains one of our long term goals.)
The school library still has the books provided when the library was built.
The computers in the computer lab are outdated.
What did we decide?
1. We have decided to immediately channel all monies raised so far to commence renovating/building new shelves in the library if needed and with the help of the school admin, selected books will be purchased for the school.
2. We'll then focus our attention on the computer lab. We'll purchase between 10-20 new computers to refurbish the pc lab.
We believe this can be done if everyone chips in something.
An observation:
In our attempt to find out why some topics get more hits than others at this forum, its been realized that whenever an action is being requested from us (i.e. donations etc) the number of hits reduces considerably ---- (That tells a story) --- but let's debunk that myth. Let's start talking about these projects and follow it up with actions to make this possible. We believe this is doable -we can do it. Let's go. It's long overdue so come on guys let's focus and make a move, especially the computer lab, the brethren need all the current mod coms to enable them function. Perhaps the year groups can buy a pc each or something - my humble opinion. Any other thoughts??????
