This was made possible by your generous donations to our association over the years. Many thanks to you.
Let's not forget the folks who helped in clearing the goods from the port in Ghana. God knows what they went through.
Thanks to: Hon. Nee Amasah Namoale - (donated $1000.00) Mr. Garvo~ (unsure of spelling) - Former French teacher, now with CEPS Mr. Stephen Djaba Mr. Charles Arthur (sandy) Mr. Henry Okyere Mr. Alex Rockson (Graphic) Not leaving out Mr. Steve Oduro - who shipped the items to Ghana for us.
Taking a quote from my speech at the recent annual reunion (below), it is the belief of our association that every student will take advantage of this gesture and put these items to good use.
".....another area our organization targeted in terms of giving back to OPASS was to help build the long awaited assembly hall. Due to the resource intensive nature of the project, this association decided to look for other projects that would yield immediate impact. This association therefore decided to help build a world class computer lab for OPASS. This lab is meant to enable most students acquire computing skills. Many of us - I believe - have different stories to tell when it comes to such skills. Can you imagine spending a few hours preparing your homework or an assignment and spending twice that amount of time just to type and print it for presentation? .......what a task? Our goal - in providing this lab- is to at least enable every willing student learn to type before leaving OPASS. "
Again, on behalf of OPASS ALUMNI OF N.A-- THANKS TO ALL.
