Our organization just celebrated her 5th anniversary and I hope that there will be many more to come. It was the same old story; old faces stayed away and new faces showed up. That has been the trend if you go back to look at the pictures from our previous reunions.
If our goal, as former students, is to see to it that OPASS becomes one of the best SSS in Ghana, then we need to be more active than we have been.
There are 174 former students of OPASS in the USA and Canada registered with our Alumni association. My suggestion is, with FIFTY DEDICATED members from this association, we can move her forward to accomplish our mission. These 50 men & women strong should be willing to contribute $100 each to the association by the end of June 2011. Nobody will be calling anybody to ask for donations of any nature.
Please sleep over this suggestion and let me know if you are interested. We'll then find a common place where people can sign their names onto a list. We have done enough talking already. If you are not serious about spending $100 on OPASS, do not SIGN UP.
That's a great observation from u Edna. But have u ever asked urself why Opassians of old, in the main, do not appear so dedicated to the growth of the Old Students Association both hear in Ghana and elsewhere? Let's use empirical means to find out, Edna. THANKS.
