CAn we please for once forget about this Re union and save our transportation, hotel, food etc money for the our Golden Jubilee. The executives can post a bank account to this forum and each one of us if you can can transfer any amount within your means to the account. I believe the Ghana Chapter executives will use it for something meaningful...This is my point of view....Thanks

One funny thing is, the participants will eat and get "fatter and fatter," tone their skin just to show how good they are looking (no offends). I think the bank account will cut things short.

It is very ironic that those of you advocating the cancellation of our re-union have NEVER attended any of these events. The last time I checked, none of these folks have NEVER contributed a dime towards the betterment of OPASS. I might want to remind these folks that networking is part of these events and most important, bring us together once a year. I will encourage these folks for once to show up before they offer their opinions.

Mr. Anonymous, do you think all Mpayimfo live in America? Some of us are in S.America and I would rather save my air ticket money and transfer it to the N. America,s branch bank account.
I don't think Manu was asking for the cancellation of the Re-union for good. He said "Can we please for once forget about this Re union and save our transportation, hotel, food etc money for the our Golden Jubilee."

Mr. Dwamena, I forgot to state my name but I want you to know that people who show up at our re-union feel good and better about themselves than what you think about them. I personally don't feel anything for people who always find fault with what others do to bring folks together. If you live in South America, I will suggest to you to organize all Opassians at your location, poll your resources and send them to Ghana. You don't have to deposit any money into our account in the US. We know exactly what we will do with our resources and we don't need people like you to tell us what and how we organize ourselves here. If you are not aware, nothing happens here without a consensus and maybe that is what you are not aware. By the way, you also have to remember that whatever we give to OPASS is strictly voluntary and it's out of our affinity for the school that is why we send something to the school. It will be helpful for you to once visit the US during our annual gathering. Thank you

Steve, I wish you go back to read my section of the postings. I'm not saying those who participate don't feel good and better about themselves!!!!!!
My point is looking at the list of registered Mpayimfo shows lack of interest .
Manu was not asking for the cancellation of the Re-union for good. He said "Can we please for once forget about this Re-union and save our transportation, hotel, food etc money for our Golden Jubilee?"
By the way Bro., Go have fun and chill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No need to go back and forth on this. While I consent to the fact we must allow for some dissenting opinions, I guess our utterances also shouldn't be aimed at killing the feel good spirit of fellow old colleagues of OPASS.
It's all in the good name of OPASS that folks gather around once a year to celeberate Great Opass to make whichever contributions affordable and that must be encouraged.
Steve, I realize you do speak your mind for the chips to fall wherever they may, however given that the identity of individuals may be obscured or concealed on the internet, I suggest and plead that you tone down on some of your submissions, however well intended they may be.
If you live in South America, I would suggest that you organize all Opassians your location, survey your resources and send them to Ghana. You do not have any money deposited in the United States to our account.
