May His soul rest in perfect peace. Most of his students in those days thought of him being so strict and wicked, but in our old age, we have realized that he thought us something that no one can steal from us: Discipline! Damirifa Due Sir Gyimah.

One facinating thing learned and came to appreciate about Mr Gyimah is that he knew every student as an individual and not as a group. A few years back, I got the chance to talk to him on the phone and asked him if he remembered me. His answer suprised me; he discribed me to the teeth and even told me I lived at Koforidua. I hope we still have educators like him who take interest in their students and make them feel they care about them.

May your soul rest in perfect peace, Mr Gyimah. I'm glad I made time to visit you last August when I was home.

Edna
