I think I've unlocked 2 secrets to having FUN at our reunions :
INVITE A BUNCH OF YOUR YEAR MATES and when you all meet, gether together at one table. That's it. You'll talk and dance together all night like there was no tommorrow. You can ask Snrs Stephen Oduro, Kwame Bronnie, Castro or Henkins. You can ask me too.
MONEY: Start SUSU now. Find out where your local Jamaican community is. They do very well with susu and guess what, they call it susu too. Join one or two groups and by the time summer comes next year, it'll be your turn to "pour".
You are then coming with money to donate (this time no pledges b'cos the cash is right there in your pocket) and friends to laugh with. You can't beat that.
Just don't forget to mingle with the rest of us. See you next summer at the reunion. Come expecting to have fun. I promise you'll not be disappointed.
