Hello Mpaninfo, I am trying to arrange with the Principal of the Ghana International School in Cantoments- Accra so that we can hold our meetings on the School's premises, and at their Film Room. The School is not far away from the 37military vehicles station. The Film Room is a very comfortable place to hold meetings. I need your opinion on this so that I can go ahead and complete the arrangement. These alot of parking places and security guards around . Thanks
Hey Charles, It sounds like a good idea but you did not state where the old meeting place was and the need for a change. Is it going to be cost- free at the new place? More info, please.
This idea is excellent. Sandy, I will also suggest that in addition to the end of year gathering that you guys organize, there should also be some other activities that will keep the 'flame' burning all the time. This will also strengthen the association. Anytime that I happen to be in Ghana, I will make it a point to attend any of your meetings if I'm informed. I will give you a call later. Cheers.
We have been attending our meetings at the Accra Technical Training College at Kokomlemle. Sometimes getting decent chairs and tables during meetings become a problem, and whenever our meeting time stretches later in the evening, we do not get light. At G.I.S. we are assured of at least hundred chairs, very good lighting and an air conditioned spacious meeting place. In fact we will be the first group outside the School to use the facility. Regarding the payment for the use of the facility, just leave it to me, since I work in the School. In fact I have been working there for the past 20years.
Yeah Charles, I fully support the new arrangement . Its simply safe and convenient to all. Please go ahead and secure the place so that we can have our next meeting there this November. Its easy to get there even by trosky or taxi.
