Dear Fellow Opassians,

It is with regret to announce that the Christmas party would not be taking place on the 12 December as expected.

The scheduled event has been cancelled due to poor response from members which is a circumstance beyond our control.

We apologise for the short notice but would like to entreat all members that the progress and success of this organisation relies on each and every one of us and we must endeavour to support and participate in future meetings and arrangements.

A further notification would follow to outline other plans going forward.

Please extend this information to all so as to avoid any inconvenience on the said date.

Have a good weekend.

Best Regards,

Samuel Marfo

(Vice President)

Sorry your reunion couldn't come on as planned.

You are all welcome to ours on June 26th 2010. I promise you'll not be disappointed.

I have a suggestion: for your tickets, you can form a SUSU group ASAP and by the time June is here, each one in the group will have had a turn. Felicia shoud be the one to keep the money. LOL.

You are very welcome.

Otis, it's frustrating when you want to do so much for Opass but other opassians don't feel the same way. Don't give up. A few of you guys can start meeting at home and then you take it from there.

I don't who the author is, but does this sound familiar?

TEAMWORK

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!

Have a blessed day

Hi Kwame, congratulations to those of you who are trying to organize the old students group there. The trend seems to be repeating every where, but please don't give up.We will succeed. Please inform your executive members that the Ghanaian High Commissioner in the U.K. is called Dr. Danso Boafo and he is an old Opassian. You may go to see him. Good Luck. Sandy.

Hello Mpaninfo,
I would like to apologise sincerely for the cancellation of the X'mas party. On the other hand I have been greatly enthused by the response from members who value the banner of our Alma Matta. The association can only progress if we patronise so keep hold of your faith and hope and keep your belief in us. We are working hard to salvage this situation and will post you with developments as soon as it is possible. I know your appetites have been 'whepped' so keep salivating because the best is yet to come.

President
Betty Mensah-Bonsu
