"To the Brobbey family. I knew how hard Joseph struggled against his health issue to complete his college diploma to work with people with developmental delay. He was so proud of his family and would do anything to make them proud of him. Just to continue was a huge struggle at times. Despite all this he kept a wonderful smile, treated everyone with kindness and tried his hardest to show what he could do. A teacher is supposed to remain the same with everyone, but I could not help but like Joseph so much. He was a man of such good character who tried all the time to show what it is to be a good human being. I knew how hard it was to keep going and he knew I admired his efforts. I was so saddened that he died just after his great accomplishment. He would never want any of us to be sad. He would just give that smile and say something in that low voice. He was a great student, person, husband and father. He could not have any regrets from living a life so pure." - Mark Macdonald
