Chanchan was fun. Hanging was the fashion of the day. There was this shirt that we call "pinto". I remember after losing my bedsheet on Friday after I came back from classes, this senior was wearing it on Saturday at the "chanchan". We used to have our names written on our stuff so there goes my name on one corner of the "pinto". How dare u say a word. A senior wearing your bedsheet. What surprised me was the time interval from the cloth being a bedsheet and transforming within a day to become a neatly sewn "pinto". Yeahhh there was this cripple tailor at Tafo. What's his name? He was an expert and express tailor. Ohhh "Jango Jango" was his name. The old students of the sixties will not know this. Don't worry I'll discuss our time too in subsequent episodes. Robot & breaks was the dance. Then came mess-up. There was another one. "One yard". Gone are the days. School was fun. The food was bad. Therefore ill-prepared "austrai" was held in high esteem. What was the song of the moment? A lot. We had electric buggey, baby give it up, Mr. Groove, holiday etc. Spearboom will remember some of this.
